Hey, Paul. I definitely agree with using Facebook as a platform to get information out to the public. I have noticed that parents, these days, are most familiar with Facebook than the more current social media platforms. Parents in the community have taken it upon themselves to even create their own Facebook page just for parents. I've observed the conversations within these pages on Facebook and have gained quite a bit of information myself. What is nice about Facebook is everything can be accessed in one place. One doesn't have to go to different websites to gain this information. When sending home flyers, they typically get overlooked by parents. It's just more "junk mail" sent home from their students. But when the information is accessed at their own will, it becomes more meaningful.
